Self-Reflective-Journal: Week Seven:
← Link to mocap data filming
Here was our scheduled mocap data filming session. Medina's friend went into the mocap suit to help us record our dancing data. She does dancing and sports recreational activities. This meant she learnt the choreography easily and was able to add more style and confidence to the moves. We took several takes until we were both satisfied with the moves and dance sequence. I directed the dancer and timed her movements so the sequence would fit our allotted time. Me and medina always looked out for any markers that were loose or fall out. And we tied the dancer hair so it wouldn't obstruct any markers behind her. The recording went smoothly after getting the desired amount of takes and Medina used her SSD to collect our data.

After recording our data I now was tasked with cleaning my data. I wanted to get Cortex done as fast as I could as everyone would be using the allotted Cortex computers in WE605. I cleaned my data the same day I recorded which was April 10th 9-11. I felt productive and on-task as I was finishing important pipeline tasks in order to progress.
