Self-Reflective-Journal: Week Six:
This week I started to create my maya scene. I used the poly model shapes to create my walls, base and main shape. I used my mood boards as my main inspiration and went for similar shapes. I wanted to add a podium/stage for my character to dance on. Big ceilings and high pillars would give the Victorian look I was going for. After working on It, I want to make the building even bigger, add a chandelier and steps at the front of the building. I will also experiment with aiStandardSurfaces pre-sets as I will not have time to make my own textures. Though I could find a texture on CGtrader I believe the pre-sets in maya can work well and be edited to how I like.

← First model of base
← First day of modelling completed. Solid idea to be expanded on for further modelling
← Continuation of modelling. Making walls and thinking about where the lighting will be present

Reflection:
This week me, Medina and her friend (dancer) booked a room in the Sports and Recreational centre at AUT to rehearse our dances as we would be recording our mocap data together that week. I also made a shot list to be able to list each action and pose properly. I also started making my scene so it would be ready to import my dancer in.
